Persayus Adrianny

Persayus Adrianny was born on July 28, 2011. She was prenatally diagnosed with Trisomy 21, more commonly known as Down Syndrome, and a congenital heart defect. Trisomy 21 is a Genetic Chromosome 21 disorder causing developmental and intellectual delays. This condition cannot be cured. CHD is an abnormality in the heart that develops before birth. She had a ventricular septal defect, which is a heart defect due to an abnormal connection between the lower chambers of the heart. She underwent open-heart surgery at the very young age of five months old, which saved her life. She has overcome 17 surgeries to date for various reasons. She loves to dance, model and give hugs! She is unstoppable, and no diagnosis can define her!

Kailey

A long eight years of searching for a diagnosis, on April 19, 2017, Kailey was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 3. December 27, 2017 was her first day of treatment with Spinraza. Kailey receives treatment every four months. Today, Kailey stays strong with  lots of physical therapy thanks to her friends at Crit USA. She loves to give back to her friends and community, spending time with her Ferrari Kids family, visiting the Ronald McDonald House, and reading to kids at the local library.

Carolina was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in September 2016. She is currently in the last stage of treatment, which is called “Maintenance.” Even through treatment and chemotherapy, Carolina has been able to attend high school at James Madison and continues to play her favorite sport, which is basketball. Carolina lives with her family in San Antonio, Texas, and would like to be in law enforcement when she grows up. 

LILY

Lily is a lively six-year-old that was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on March 29th of 2018. She is currently in the final stage of treatment, which is called “Maintenance.” Throughout the span of her treatment, Lily has maintained her bubbly personality and cool demeanor. She loves all animals, especially her two kittens. Lily would like to be a bassist and a police officer or nurse when she grows up.
